eBike firmware Updates
Updating your eBike’s motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.
We recommend avoiding firmware updates especially through service centres unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn’t usually need one.
Keep in mind:
✔ Firmware upgrades can remove tuning compatibility
✔ Tuning is only guaranteed to work with the firmware version available at time of purchase
✔ A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty

Very easy to install and works great. Removes speed limit and has a nice App for your smart phone. I found that on a Samsung phone you can change the font size to extra large to make it easier to read.
Good service and product
Not only did my new SpeedBox 3.0 show up in a few short days after ordering, the included instructions and videos available on YouTube made installation a breeze! It works like a charm and allows my e-bike to perform the way it should making it much safer to ride with the flow of traffic. EbikeTuner has also followed gone above and beyond by following up to make sure that everything went well and has met my expectations. Great and Professional business!!!
This is the best addition you could ever make to a Bosch E bike. The addition of this chip makes the bike ride, totally different, and so much better. It is worth every penny.
2002 Trek Rail 9.7 became the bike for all conditions. Do I need 20mph on trails? Likely not. Gravity fixes that too. But riding the bike on rhr road and around the neighborhood is now simply amazing. Multiple bikes in one package now!
We all know it is quite easy to pedal a regular bike past 20mph! Gravity doesn’t have a speed governor either. Thank you ebike tuner for enabling us to bypass some bureaucrats nonsense and allowing us to ride like we would normally without electric motor assistance. As I get on in years the motor assistance is much appreciated.
