It installed fine and the instructions were great. The bike pretty much still stops assisting at 20mph. I was able to set the top speed as instructed but functionally it feels almost the same as before. I am an avid cyclist with strong legs, I own 5 bikes and raced cyclocross, but I still have to get out of the saddle to hit 24-25mph on my Gazelle Ultimate C8.

Definitely more responsive, depending on what your gearing ratios are and inclined, you'll easily get 24 out of it if you pedalling hard on a minimalist setup, installation, activation, and deactivation is very easy, descrete when installed. Best part for me on mid drive motor you feel like you riding rather than hub motor where you can be a great 1 and get to max speed eventually. Just have to be careful in gear changes, if your bike allows, use your brake lever as a clutch or stop peddling for a brief second when changing gear, the extra power can make your chain slip and unlike hub motor you won't be able to keep going. Apart from that. I love it.

Took about an afternoon to fit, as had the unexpected complication of difficult removal of bolts holding on the Bash Guard. Once this was overcome, it was more or less as the video showed, and straightforward. The device worked perfectly the first time, and does what it says, removes the PITA speed restriction that hamstrings the Bosch motor. I'd say I think I noticed a little more power to the existing settings too, though not totally clear to me from the manual if this is the case or if I'm imagining it. I don't know the effect any of this will have on range, but IMHO worthwhile, even if a little reduced. I'd also be happier if it didn't need to be turned on every time, but, I see the necessity. I'd recommend it to anybody who is reasonably handy and who hates that swimming in treacle feeling coming up to 15 mph.

fairly easy to install and no error codes. i fitted it to a Haibike ALLMTN 7, the motor covers and access were nothing like the example in the instructions but a quick search on youtube confirmed the best way to get access. this is definitely not a criticism of the instructions as all bike companies have their own different way of mounting motors.

The chip is easy to install just plug n play. It makes the bike ride how it should do. No flat spot when putting in that extra pedal stroke between jumps etc. The only thing I would say is positioning around engine was a bit tight hence I went for hiding in the downtube cavity. A lot neater and u can notice its there. Can't rate this enough, buy one, it's a game changer.

I am very the moon with the chip I purchased for my E150rs.
After a lot of research and checking reviews regarding the Bosch gen 4 motor. Also I heard very good things about this company and the support they give etc I think I good the right one.
The bike has more power now not that you need it all the time but it’s great to have on the very steep hills.
Would I recommend this company 100% and was it worth the money is the question people would as.

So, I was using a bafang mid drive motor on my converted Boardman MTB which was totally illegal it broke so decided buy a hard tail MTB with a Bosch motor, which was great till you hit the 15.5 mph wall, felt very disappointed with the bike and I came across your FB advert, and decided I wanted the excitement of more speed, on private land of course , so I thought for the price let’s go for it, very easy to fit as the wires are colour coded, bit fiddly to fit it under the cover but the cable ties helped a lot, makes such a big difference to hit 28 mph which is more speed than any bicycle needs, 100% recommend buying one, you will not be disappointed. I am a totally satisfied customer, do it !

Easy to fit. A bit more difficult to set up but worked ok, I think. I thought (possibly my error) that it would be reasonably easy to get up to the top speed but I've not got near it yet. It is definitely faster but I've only got up to about 22mph so far.

I bought this because my European-manufactured eBike was limited welll below the US speed limit for Class 3 ebikes. Installation was a breeze, and use is very intuitive. I love being able to match traffic more easily, and I'm very amazed at how smoothly the interface still works. Love it!

Easy installation .I Had got confused abit thinking that I had to create a access code.but there is no need I wasent sure that I needed to have a great multi plug but it seems to work fine withe the black multi plug so clarification may still be needed

From order to installation, 3 easy steps. 1.Order. 2. Receive . 3.Install. This process literally took 5 days, that is step 1 & 2. Step 3 took 3 minutes top. This included finding my Allen key to remove motor guard.
Bike is running like a dream topping 27.9 MPH. Honestly this is an amazing upgrade and incredibly simple to install.

Extremely easy to fit on my Trek powerfly 4. Simply had to remove 4 screws holding on the bash guard and remove 2 wires and plug in the chip. Literally plug and play.
Nievely expected to easily pedal at ip to 30mph but it doesn't work as simple as that. Motor stays kicked in assisting up to I think 27mph in my case but to reach those speeds you still have to pedal at a great pace. I'm almost 57 and very heavy so I'd struggle at that but I can reach easily up to 20mph on a slight slope given a good streach of road. But its so much better now you don't hit a brick wall at 15.5 mph makes for such a smoother ride.

Really easy to fit (it must be if I did it) but you need to think where you route / hide the cables. It was a tight squeeze on a 2021 Trek Rail 7. Worked perfectly straight out of the box.

it's been cold here in Nevada so I haven't been able to ride until today the tuner worked great I was able to ride at 28 mph before it shut off that really makes a big difference in how I'm riding with my friends most of the people I ride with are 10 or 11 years younger than I am so this really gives me a big Advantage when I ride the chip works great I'm very happy with my purchase

Despite the fact that I am a retired auto electrician and motorcycle mechanic,this device was so easy to fit ,I am sure that anyone with some common sense will have no problems. It took a couple of readings to get a handle on the individual assistance modes and where I would gain most benefit by using this feature. In the end I found the best way was to get out on the bike and experiment.

Works as described. My bike is a Scott sub cross 20 with a gen 3 Bosch motor.
The connectors are above the crank pin on this motor so I had to drop it out of the frame, 3 socket head bolts.
A little fiddly to plug in the connectors due to access but easy to do.
The hardest part was tucking the cables out of the way to allolw the motor to be lifted up into the frame.
In the end I removed battery connector and pulled cables and tuning chip into bayyery space. Refitted motor and tucked cables away near battery connector.
So I like the display of battery percentage which the Scott didn't have, this alternates with distance left.
If possible it would be nice to have a % icon when showing battery state. Can't tell the difference between distance or battery at 80 ~ 90 %!

We live in Perth Australia, and the kit arrived quite quickly. We have an Avanti EXPLORER-E2 & Avanti EXPLORER-E2 Low. Both have the Bosch's Active Line Plus motor with Bosch Intuvia display. Before sending it out to me, the team asked what bike I had to be sure I was ordering the correct chip. I only had to remove 6 cover screws and then plug and play. It works exactly as advertised; the Volspeed makes riding so much more enjoyable now. Highly recommend it for sure

It was easy to install and setup the VOLspeed V4 on my Surly Skid Loader with a Bosch Cargo Line Motor. One thing I didn't realize until I started riding with the new speed tuner was that I will probably need taller gears/larger chainring because I run out of gears going faster than usual.

I did wonder if I was doing the right thing in modifying my cube bike, however after fitting (which was straight forward and took about 20 mins from start to finish), the bike is completely different. When I say different I don't mean more powerful as you start off, it's when you get to the 16mph and no restriction that it comes into its own. I can now easily cycle at 20mph which is fast enough but can with little more exertion reach 27-28mph (remember to wear a helmet!). I would highly recommend this modification, it fits easily and the controls are exactly the same as before. I will be buying another for my wife's bike shortly!

Was unsure as read about the risk of error codes but thought lets have a go. Fitting was very tight on my trek rail 7 2022 but got there in the end though didn't use zip ties as caused too much cable bunching so couldn't fit the bash plate.
Going from restricted to derestricted through the purion display couldn't be easier, takes 3 seconds.
Set my speed at 25mph which was more than enough for my local trails. What a difference to my ride! No more motor cutting out and peddling the weight of the bike, brilliant!
