I'm having problems setting up my Speedbox 3.0
If you are having difficulties with the installation please take a look this video guide first
If after pressing your WALK button you are not seeing 9.9kmh or 2.5kmh on your display, please double check you have connected the Speedbox correctly.
If you are seeing other numbers on the display we recommend taking the device off, removing your battery and starting the installation process again
To activate your device, press your 'walk' button and 9.9kmh will appear, this confirms the device is active.
To deactivate your device, press your 'walk' button and 2.5kmh will appear, this confirms the device is deactivated.

Once you have installed the device (pages 3-6 in the manual) there are 2 stages to getting your device setup. It's best to have your display in kmh for this.
Stage 1 - Initial setup (page 7-8), press and hold your 'minus' button (3-5 seconds), release minus and press your 'plus' (3-5 seconds)
Following this combination you will see the following sequence
11.1kmh (10 seconds) --> 10.0kmh (5 seconds) --> 25.0kmh (5s) --> 0.0kmh
Do not press any buttons during at this stage
If your display does not follow this sequence check you have connected the device correctly.
Stage 2 - Speed Mode (page 9-10)
Once you have completed the initial setup it's time to set your new max assistance speed.
Press your 'minus' (3 seconds), you should see 32.0kmh appear on your display, use your 'plus' & 'minus' to change this value to your desired max speed. Once you have your desired speed, leave the display for 5 seconds to set.
Each and every time you ride, you will need to press your 'minus' button for 3 seconds to activate the device, likewise press 'minus' again to deactivate it and 25.0kmh will appear on your display.
If you would like to adjust your max speed, simply follow the steps at Stage 2.

2017-19 eBikes (with a display)
To activate your device, press your 'walk' button and 9.9kmh will appear, this confirms the device is active.
To deactivate your device, press your 'walk' button and 2.5kmh will appear, this confirms the device is deactivated.
2020-21 eBikes (without a display)
To activate your device, press the 'walk' button followed by the 'up' button
To deactivate your device, press your 'walk' button followed by the 'up' button
If you are not noticing any difference upon activating, we recommend taking the device off, removing your battery and starting the installation process again to ensure the connections are correct.
