This is the second Volspeed controller I have installed. The first on is on my 2021 Trek Rail and has 3500+ miles since installation. I installed this Volspeed version #1358 on my Rail 9.9 and tested it out. So glad the 18.8 MPH wall is gone and I can go faster now. I managed to get this bike up to 31mph and a downhill road! Most of my offroad rides are way below that, maybe hitting 23-25 mph every once in a while. I ride with a Garmin 1030 bike computer, so it manages speed recordings, meaning the Kiox 300 display can show a lower speed and it doesn't matter to me. Installation was pretty easy, but I do all my mechanical work on the bike. Install picture was before the zip ties were added. I added some more Loc-tight on the cover screws so they will stay put. I'm looking forward to my first real unrestricted ride today...can't wait!
PS: Shipping took 9 days from UK to Texas. I'm spoiled by same day delivery from Amazon! Clearing Customs seems to add a few days to this process and I don't think anything happens over a weekend with them!

Product arrived quickly and was just as described.
It does boost the speed past 15 mph,but it seems to only work when the setting is on turbo.Also it needs to be reset every time you use the bike.
Just fitted it wasn't to bad works like my last one so im happy

Works perfectly fine. Just one small issue with my speed indicator. It never goes beyond 14.5 mph when I’m clearly going beyond that ?

Hi Paul, thanks for the review. You may have missed this but on the product listing is states that speed readings above 15mph are not accurate when using the chip. This is the same across all tuning kits for these types of motors, its simply not possible to get accurate readings & trick the motor at the same time
The SpeedBox 3.3 completely unlocked my Giant SyncDrive motor. No more hitting an invisible speed wall—the assistance is now smooth and unrestricted! Installation was straightforward, and toggling it via the handlebar buttons is incredibly easy. Just remember to leave the bike powered on for 30–45 seconds after stopping to let the chip finish its data correction and avoid errors. Worth every penny!
The Levociraptor is a great and professionally crafted product. After more than 1000 km on the Levo 4, I could not be happier with it. The installation Video on YouTube is precise and clear. Just be careful when you try to push the cable with the tiny and delicate plug from the motor compartment into the battery compartment. The plug may not easily pass through. Do not use any force and do not try 10 times to “wiggle it through” – you could damage the plug. In my case, I had to drill a small hole at the corner of the battery socket to be able to push the plug and cable through – which is not a big deal, just be careful not to damage the existing cables when drilling. Once everything is installed, the kit is a delight. I only bought the Levo because I knew that a reliable tuning kit is available for its motor. Now the Levo is “unchained”, it is really alive and I love driving it even more. On a straight road without slope I can sustainably reach 35 to 38 km/h with around 80 RPM of pedaling, at around 100 RPM also slightly more thann40 km/h – the limit is the transmission and the pedaling RPM. Highly recommended – but use it with self responsibility!

The kit was super easy to fit, but before you start you do need to make sure you have the correct tools including a torque wrench to remove and refit the motor. After that my Cube One44 was transformed into a machine of pure fun. I will be careful to keep the speeds down where there are people around. Stay classy and respectful to others.

very nice product, easy to install and operate. If I had one thing to criticize it would be to have the wires laid out better for a nicer fit. But I am no engineer so maybe it was already as clean as it could be

Fantastic! So easy to fit. Has made the bike all the more enjoyable now ‘the wall’ has gone. Fitted to my Cube Stereo race 160 in literally minutes. Battery life is shortened a fair bit, but that’s to be expected when you’re going twice as fast 😎 Nice to be able to turn it off should you need to preserve battery. Service was excellent, delivery fast with easy to follow instructions. Would definitely recommend. 🥳
