This Speedbox 1.0B is a tuning kit for eBikes powered by a DJI Avinox M1 motors. Most commonly found on the Amflow PL eBike.

 

Once fitted and activated it will completely remove the factory 25km/h speed limit. This Speedbox is fully compatible with all displays available for the Avinox system and works with the latest software updates.

 

With it's built-in bluetooth connection, you can control the chip via the Speedbox Connect app. Within the app you can set a custom max speed, turn the chip on/off and track your rides in real time. Alternatively, you can activate this Speedbox by pressing + - + - on your handlebar controller.

Moderate difficulty — the motor needs to be removed from the frame to fit the kit, which connects inline using the original connectors (no cutting or splicing). Allow 1–2 hours with basic tools. Full wiring diagrams and the install video are in our help centre guide.

Unfortunately no tuning kits are 100% guaranteed. You can reduce the risk of triggering an error code by following these simple steps:

If your eBike uses a smartphone app, switch off automatic updates before installing your tuning kit

Remove your tuning kit before doing any software updates

If possible, remove your battery before starting your installation

Keep your average speed below 50km/h

What's covered by the Lifetime Warranty?

All Speedbox products come with a lifetime warranty. In the unlikely event your product develops a fault or defect. We will replace it for free.

A note on Firmware Updates

Updating your eBike’s motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.

We recommend avoiding firmware updates—especially through service centres—unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn’t usually need one.

Keep in mind:

✔ Firmware upgrades can remove tuning compatibility

✔ Tuning is only guaranteed to work with the firmware version available at time of purchase

✔ A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty
