Note: this kit has been tested successfully up to shimano software version 4.4.1. Avoid updating once fitted. Check compatibility section below for guidance. This kit does not work with Orbea Rise RS models.

Speed readings will stay fixed at 25 km/h when riding above this limit.

Love that my Pear Tune 3.0 Shimano EP6 eBike Tuning kit stops that annoying clunk between electric and manual mode on my EP6 motor. I have not tested how fast I can go with it as it wasn't about speed with me, just that annoying feeling. Disappointed that the digital speedo stops at 12.4mph now, but I knew this would be the case when I bought it. Customer care was great and I would highly recommend.

I attached the red wire to the light input on the Shimano ep801 and that was it. The display shows light symbol and M for manual shifting. I noticed increase power. I have not needed to test speeds above 25 mph. I'm saving my battery life by using 75% power unless I really have the need for speed.

I bought a Voodoo Bizango E Bike brand new a week ago it is fitted with a Shimano EP6 electric motor I rode it home from the shop about 4 mileI .I had bought a Pear Tune 3.0 E Bike tuning kit from E Bike Tuner and I fitted it in ten minutes.All you have to do is take the 3 screws out of the electric motor plastic cover make sure you have a good fitting Philips screwdriver because the small screws have thread lock on them and are pretty tight and you don't want to round the scew heads off then all you have to do is connect one wire and that's it ready to go .When you fit the motor plastic cover back on make sure you don't trap any of the wires.This Pear Tune 3.0 E Bike Tuning kit has made a big improvement to me bike and is well worth the money and the staff at E Bike Tuner were very helpful

I have a 2024 canyon torque cf 8 that was restricted to 20mph annd was like hitting an wall. Installed the chip in about 10 mins. Worth every penny, have had zero problems and bike goes as fast as I need it to go. How it should have came from the factory…
