Unlock the full potential of your Shimano powered eBike. Works seamlessly with EP8, EP800, EP8RS motors. Once fitted, it removes the 15mph or 20mph speed limit completely. With this premium Bluetooth version, you can control speed, monitor rides, and easily adjust settings through the Speedbox app. Alternatively, you can switch on or off using the handlebar controls.

Important: There are two variants of this kit. You must open up your motor to check if there's a spare port on it or not. Select '+ETP' if your motor does not have a spare eTube port. Will this kit work with my bike?

  • Works with any ebike fitted with a Shimano EP8, EP800, EP8RS motor
  • Excludes eBikes with Di2 electronic gearing
  • Excludes EP801 motors

All Speedbox products come with a lifetime warranty. In the unlikely event your product develops a fault or defect. We will replace it for free.

eBike firmware Updates

Updating your eBike’s motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.

We recommend avoiding firmware updates especially through service centres unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn’t usually need one.

Keep in mind:

✔ Firmware upgrades can remove tuning compatibility

✔ Tuning is only guaranteed to work with the firmware version available at time of purchase

✔ A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty
