Unlock the full potential of your Shimano powered eBike. Works seamlessly with EP8, EP800, EP8RS motors. Once fitted, it removes the 15mph or 20mph speed limit completely. It can be switched off at anytime or left permanently active depending on your preference.
Important: There are two variants of this kit. You must open up your motor to check if there's a spare port on it or not. Select '+ETP' if your motor does not have a spare eTube port. eBike firmware Updates
Updating your eBike’s motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.
We recommend avoiding firmware updates especially through service centres unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn’t usually need one.
Keep in mind:
✔ Firmware upgrades can remove tuning compatibility
✔ Tuning is only guaranteed to work with the firmware version available at time of purchase
✔ A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty

Simple to install and works as advertised
Speed box extremely helpful via email all working as it should
Brilliant to remove the limiter when needed but I think the chip should be designed according to the compartment size on the motor coverings as it simply didn’t fit inside the ep8 wiring cover without a lot of swearing and hassle when it could just be designed smaller
