This eBike tuning kit works with any Giant brand eBike with a Syncdrive Pro / Core / Life / Sport motor. When active it removes the factory speed limit, enabling you to derestrict your ebike up to 28mph (45kmh). The VOLspeed can be switched on or off at anytime using the handlebar controls.
Not compatible with:
- Newer Giants (After 2023 - shop here)
- Smart Gateway software version 20240314000 or newer. Please check your Ride Control app or Display prior to purchasing
Once fitted, avoid updating your bike's software as it may prevent the chip from working or trigger an error code

Software Updates
Software Updates
Updating your eBike’s motor firmware may block or disable your tuning kit.
We recommend avoiding firmware updates especially through service centres unless absolutely necessary. Most updates are optional, and a working eBike doesn’t usually need one.
Keep in mind:
✔ Firmware upgrades can remove tuning compatibility
✔ Tuning is only guaranteed to work with the firmware version available at time of purchase
✔ A blocked tuning kit due to a firmware update is not covered under warranty
